Teaching on mindfulness of thoughts (30 min)

In meditation, we often use the image of the waterfall to describe this constant stream of thoughts that happens in our mind. It is completely natural and nothing to be worried about. The goal of meditation is not to stop the thoughts or get rid of them, but rather to develop a different relationship with them by becoming aware of them: the idea is to step behind the waterfall, and watch the thoughts from a distance, so we are no longer caught or lost in them.
