In this relaxation, you will start by using your breath to help relax your body and your mind. You will then imagine yourself floating away on a colorful feather, all safe and relaxed.

This practice is about developing warm kind feelings towards oneself, feeling that we have our own back, we are here for ourselves no matter what happens to us, like a good friend would be. It helps to build self-esteem and resilience.
This is not always easy to do because we are not used to doing this for ourselves. Don’t worry if it feels a bit weird or if you can’t feel anything, it is a practice and it takes time.
