Drop-in Mindfulness class, online – Every Friday from 11:30am to 12:30pm, on a generosity basis ; no class during the school holidays

Come and join our growing community of like-minded meditators. Beginners and more experienced meditators are all welcome. Meditating in a group is a great way to strengthen our home practice, remain motivated, and support each other on our journey

In these sessions we explore the concentration practices on the breath, body, emotions and thoughts, as well as heart-based practices such as compassion, loving-kindness, gratitude, joy and forgiveness.

FRENCH Drop-in Mindfulness class in FRENCH, online – on Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 8:30pm, fortnightly, starting on Wednesday 17th January 2021, first two sessions are free, $15 per session thereafter   – No class during the school holidays

This class was created with the French community in Melbourne in mind. Native French speakers might connect better with meditations guided in French and find it easier to describe their experiences in French than English. Other nationalities who are fluent in French are welcome too, of course. If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch with me.

Introduction to Mindfulness – 6 one-hour sessions online, running fortnightly, with  30 min check-ins and practices in-between sessions – Sliding scale pricing depending on your financial situation: Supported $90 – Regular $135 – Benefactor $180                        Starting in Term 2

This is a training in the foundation of mindfulness. You will learn to be mindful with your breath and your body, and to bring a healing attention to your emotions and to your thought patterns. Throughout the course, there will be an emphasis on developing a formal practice at home, and weaving mindfulness into your life, with weekly check-ins and recorded guided meditations to support students with their home practice.

Mindfulness Consolidation:  6 one-hour sessions online, fortnightly, with  30 min check-ins and practices in-between sessions, sliding scale pricing depending on your financial situation: Supported $90 – Regular $135 – Benefactor $180                    Starting in term 3

This class is suited for people who have participated in the Introduction to Mindfulness course or who have some knowledge of Mindfulness, and would like to consolidate their home practice, and expand their understanding of mindfulness meditation. In this class we will review the basic principles of mindfulness, as well as explore new concepts such as how to apply mindfulness to physical pain and difficult emotions , how to use mindfulness to bring more joy and love into our life, and finally how we can practice letting go of our anchor and rest in open awareness.

Advanced Mindfulness Course – 5 one-hour sessions online, fortnightly, with  30 min check-ins and practices in-between sessions, sliding scale pricing depending on your financial situation: Supported $75 – Regular $112.5 – Benefactor $150                              Starting in Term 4

This training builds on the previous two courses and will attract students who are interested in exploring further the practices of loving kindness and compassion, equanimity and open awareness, as well as strengthening their concentration and mindfulness practice.

CANCELLATION POLICY and LATE ARRIVALS

Individual sessions:

Please understand that appointment times for individual sessions are limited. If you have to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request 24 hours notice. Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled without 24 hours notice, will incur a fee of 100% of the price of the session, except under exceptional circumstances (e.g. accident or illness).

If you arrive late at your appointment, it means that your session will be shorter so we can finish on time and I am not late for my next appointment.

Series of classes:

Cancellations made two weeks before the start of the series will receive a 100 % refund. Cancellations made one week before the start will receive a 50 % refund. Cancellations made three days or less before the start will not receive a refund.

When you book a series of classes, you commit to attend all the classes in the series. Therefore, there is no refund if you cannot attend one of the classes in the series. If you miss a class, you will still be able to access the class material and meditation recordings for that class.

All classes will start on time. If you are running late, you will still be accepted in the Zoom session, but please put your microphone on mute on entering the session so as not to disturb any meditation in progress.
